Dr.Mani Ram Krishna

Dr Mani Ram Krishna is a pediatric cardiologist with more than 10 years of experience. After graduating from medical school, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at the famous Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital in Chennai where he obtained the prestigious Dr B R Santhanakrishnan gold medal awarded by the National Board of Examinations. He subsequently trained in Pediatric Cardiology at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and later at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, Australia His areas of interest include genetic cardiovascular diseases, heart rhythm problems and evaluation and planning surgical repair of complex congenital heart diseases Dr Mani Ram co-founded Tiny Hearts Thanjavur in 2019. He has a vast experience in paediatric cardiology and has managed heart problems in more than 2500 children from various parts of the state.
His special interest is also cardiac genetic disorders like cardiomyopathy and channelopathies (sudden death syndromes).

Dr. Usha Nandini Maniram

Dr Usha Nandini co founded Tiny Hearts Thanjavur in 2019 recognising the need for advanced fetal care in the delta districts of Tamil Nadu. She is a fetal medicine specialist based in Thanjavur. After completing her undergraduation, she obtained her masters in ultrasound at Mediscans Systems Chennai which is the premier institute for fetal medicine in the country. She has worked in pediatric radiology in Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust hospital .She further trained in Fetal Medicine/ Fetal Cardiology at the Maternal and Fetal Medicine department at Westmead Hospital in Sydney Australia. She is also a gold medalist during her MBA in Hospital Administration. Her interests include Fetal Cardiology , Fetal Genetics and Fetal interventions.

Dr. Nitin Arora

Dr Arora is a Paediatrician, paediatric emergency physician and a paediatric cardiologist with special interest in paediatric interventional cardiology. After training in 4 different countries (India, Australia, New Zealand and Canada), Dr Arora is passionate about serving the community with his skills. He works at John hunter children's hospital, Sydney, Australia and travels internationally for his passion projects.
Dr.Arora is also a paediatric intensivist who is highly capable of handling high risk paediatric ICU patients.

Dr Vijay Kumar

Dr Vijay Kumar Raju completed his general surgery and Cardiothoracic surgery residencies from the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore. An interest in pediatric and congenital surgery led him to advanced training to two of the most reputed congenital cardiac surgical units in the world - the Mayo Clinic, U.S.A and the Children’s Hospital at Boston, U.S.A After completion of his training, he returned to India to set up the first pediatric cardiac surgical unit in the city at GKNM Hospital Coimbatore. Dr Vijay Kumar had also focused on building a team in order to ensure optimal pre and post operative outcomes. He is the recipient of various awards and has published several articles which are recognised at national and international level. His areas of interest includes neonatal cardiac surgery , redo cardiac surgery, heart lung transplantation, ECMO.

Dr. Rishab Bharadwaj

Dr Rishab Bharadwaj MBBS, MD (Paediatrics), PDF (Paediatric Haemotology/Oncology) Consultant Paediatric Haematology, Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplantation Brief Profile Dr. Rishab Bharadwaj underwent his undergraduate MBBS training from the GOVT. Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He was awareded the prestigious ICMR short term studentship award for research and was among a few students selected to attend the 23rd European Students' Conference in Berlin. He did his postgraduate training from NHL Municipal Medical College, Admedabad. He completed the Post Graduate Program in Paediatric Nutrition conducted by Nestle Nutrition Institute in association with the Boston University School of Medicine during this period. He pursued his Fellowship in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology at Kanchi Kamakoti Childs Trust Hospital, Chennai, and further undertook a Fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. He then proceeded to train in Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation at St Mary's Hospital (Imperial College NHS), London, UK which is one of the world's premier institutes for treating haematological disorders, and is renowned especially for pioneering haploidentical bone marrow transplants. He has numerous presentations and publications in national and international journals. He has a special interest in Cellular therapy. He is experienced in dealing with a wide spectrum of conditions in benign and malignant Haematology, Oncology and Immunology, as well as being proficient in Bone Marrow Transplantation, especially Haploidentical Transplants. Dr. Kalpana Gowrishankar

Dr. Kalpana Gowrishankar is a highly distinguished doctor with an impressive career spanning over 26 years in clinical genetics, laboratory research, and teaching. Holding an MBBS, DCH, and a PhD in Medical Genetics, she is a Senior Visiting Consultant in Clinical Genetics at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, where she has made significant contributions to the field. A respected member of both the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Indian Academy of Medical Genetics, Dr. Gowrishankar specialises in dysmorphology, skeletal dysplasis, prenatal genetics, and genetic counseling. Her expertise has been instrumental in advancing research on rare and inherited disorders, including her work with the ICMR National Registry and Genecorp to study rare diseases in India. She is an esteemed academic and author, having published extensively in internationally recognised, peer-reviewed ournals and contributed to book chapters. She serves as a reviewer for prestigious medical journals, including Indian Pediatrics and the Indian Journal of Practical Pediatrics. Dr. Gowrishankar is a sought-after speaker and has been invited as a chairperson and presenter at numerous international and national conferences, where she has delivered guest lectures, conducted workshops and organised Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.
